The CEPS is an interdisciplinary university centre, which aims to connect the different research approaches and theories through a general view on the topics philanthropy and foundations.

Governance is a major challenge for members of a foundation board. The Swiss Foundation Code from SwissFoundations is the first European-wide Governance Code for foundations.
