SUMMARY:Call for Submissions: Workshop on Global Philanthropy 
DESCRIPTION:The Center for Philanthropy Studies (CEPS) at the University of
  Basel\, together with international experts\, invites you to the two-day 
 Workshop on Global Philanthropy.  The workshop offers a platform for exch
 ange between researchers\, practitioners and policy makers to discuss curr
 ent developments\, challenges and opportunities in global philanthropy. Th
 e workshop takes place a few days before the 12th International Research C
 onference of the European Research Network on Philanthropy (ERNOP) (Septem
 ber 25-26\, 2025\, Heidelberg University) and offers an ideal opportunity 
 for a week of intensive exchange on the topic of philanthropy.\\r\\nTopics
  of the workshops:\\r\\n 	Cross-border philanthropy and international fina
 ncial flows 	Philanthropy and the SDGs: Implications for sustainable devel
 opment 	Technological innovation with donations (AI\, digital platforms\, 
 FinTech) 	Power and equity in philanthropy and hashtag #ShiftThePower init
 iatives 	Comparative studies on philanthropy and the regulatory landscape
