The CEPS Annual Report 2024 has been published

In 2024, the CEPS once again played an active role in shaping the development of the nonprofit sector through relevant research, innovative methods and practice-oriented projects. The new annual report highlights how data-driven approaches – from NLP and machine learning to impact-linked finance – can create tangible impact.

A particular highlight of the year was the appointment of Prof. Dr. Dominik Meier as Assistant Professor of Global Philanthropy. With his expertise, CEPS expands its research focus to international philanthropy and was awarded the ARNOVA Data & Analytics Section Award for the tool text2sdg.

In the field of continuing education, the first full cohort of the MAS in Nonprofit Management & Law successfully graduated. The high satisfaction among participants and the expansion of digital formats underscore the programme’s relevance.

Further topics in the report include:

  • Impact measurement using LLMs
  • Resilience and urban development (UPRUN project)
  • Use of VR and AI in elderly care
  • Analysis of 30,000 crowdfunding campaigns
