EU policy supports a place-based approach with the increasing role of local partners in policy-making. The study shows that the increasing activity of informal leadership at the local level in the Czech Republic does not lead to a statistical change in formal political practices. The study was conducted by CEPS researcher Oto Potluka together with Lenka Svecova and Lucie Zarubova.
