Philanthropie Aktuell 4/2017: Corporate Foundations
The fourth and last edition of Philanthropie Aktuell in 2017 is dedicated to a special form of foundations - Corporate Foundations.
In the lead article, Georg von Schnurbein discusses the importance of corporate foundations for companies and society and talks about their potential as future laboratories and bridge-builders. In fact, the question of how corporate foundations can successfully fullfill their role as a link between the business world and society is currently being intensely discussed, as shown in Theresa Gehringer's article on page 2 and the interview with Mirjam Schöning from the LEGO Foundation on page 3. Latest figures on Corporate Foundations in Switzerland are presented on page 4.
We are particularly pleased to be co-editors of the Yearbook of Charities for the first time in 2017 - you will find more information on this in the article by Sara Stühlinger on page 4.
