Doctoral Degrees for Sara Stühlinger und Sophie Hersberger
On October 23, 2020, Sara Stühlinger and Sophie Hersberger, research assistants at the CEPS, were officially handed their doctoral degrees at the graduation ceremony in the Faculty of Economics of the University of Basel. The CEPS warmly congratulates Sara and Sophie on their degrees and their excellent PhD theses.
In her dissertation, Sophie Hersberger examined how the increasing market orientation of nonprofit organizations affects their performance. Sara Stühlinger examined how investments in skills and capacities affect the financial and functional performance of NPOs and what the reasons are for NPOs to invest.
