The CEPS Annual Report 2023 is published
The CEPS annual report provides an insight into the various activities of the CEPS over the past year:
In 2023, we celebrated our 15th anniversary and, looking back, we can see that we have definitely succeeded in bridging the gap between theory and practice in many projects and topics. This is demonstrated by our executive education as well as various publications released this year, such as Finanzmanagement in Non-Profit-Organisationen, the Sunset Foundations Manual and the study on Stiftungsstadt Basel.
Since the fall semester, the CEPS has been offering a new lecture on the topic of impact measurement. The increasing importance of impact measurement in companies and non-profit organizations, as well as aspects of reporting on sustainability and social responsibility are discussed.
In research, innovative methods such as web scraping, machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) have enabled us to collect and analyze larger amounts of data than would have been possible with traditional methods. We also contributed to the development of the R software package text2sdg.
In June 2023, the first Master's module for the Master in Nonprofit Management & Law took place, which prepares students for writing their Master's thesis. We are looking forward to awarding the first Master's degrees this year!
